Vermicomposting (Or How You Can Find Love and Make Fertilizer Out of Garbage with Worms)

I have found my new project for the spring- Vermicomposting! Essentially, you feed your food scraps to worms who live in Tupperware. You get fertilizer for your garden, worms for fishing, and less goes into the landfill.

For more information and a great guide how to make worms and compost, click HERE for a great .pdf on the subject! (Please right click, then “Save As”.

  2. Jo- That’s AWESOME!

Do you have any pics? How do you treat eggshells? They are the best pH buffer, but can cut your little friends. Do you use red wigglers?
