Improvised Dinner Tastes Like Thanksgiving?

I got home from work last night grumpy and hungry.  Giving the fridge the once over, I determined we have nothing to eat in the house.  That’s when we get creative.  Thus the Cream of Chicken Stuffing and Vegetables Hot Dish was born.

First, I boiled 2 cups of water in a pan.  I added a quarter stick of butter and peas, onions, and tomatos from the garden.  Then I dumped in a packet of chicken Stovetop stuffing.  For protein, I added a can of cream of chicken.   When the residual moisture was cooked off it was put in a pan, topped with cheese, and baked for 15 minutes.  It was delicious!
