6-Foot Tomaters

When these tomato plants start producing, they are going to be monsters.  There are more than 100 fruits on the 4 plants that I have.  It is just homemade compost tilled into Indiana clay and mulched.

Disaster With the Growing Challenge . . . (Mar. 17)

My cat Dave wreaked havoc in the office.  The Bhut Jolokia plant is no longer.  The totem tomato and New Girl tomato have been pruned for me.  I am pretty sure he used the Growcubes as a litter box.  The lettuce got away unscathed and actually looks pretty good.

I have picked Totem Tomatoes (from Pinetree Seeds) and Bhut Jolokia peppers (from a friend) as my Growing Challenge. I started some lettuce as well, but I am not going to let them go to seed.  They are making progress.
